Training Program for Certified Public Psychologists

Overview

The Training Program for Certified Public Psychologists trains certified psychologists who are experts in the field of psychology. In addition to specialized knowledge, such as psychotherapy and psychological testing, students learn about attitudes and multidisciplinary cooperation, which are essential for professionals in various fields, including healthcare, education, welfare, justice, and industry. Specifically, in the first year of the Master’s Course, students learn the role-plays of counseling and psychological testing through lectures and exercises. From the second semester of the first year to the second year, they receive training, including practice with individuals who require support, through external training. In addition to clinical psychology, students can engage in research across a wide range of psychological fields, including cognitive psychology, learning psychology, and health psychology, with an emphasis on cultivating researcher qualities. Our goal is not only to obtain a license as a licensed psychologist, but also to train professionals who possess a well-balanced combination of knowledge, research, and practical experience in psychology.
