Research Students

To prospective research students

Application Instructions

What is a research student?

Research students can receive guidance from faculty members of the graduate school on a specific research theme. They may audit undergraduate and graduate-level classes, however, academic credits cannot be earned.
Enrollment is offered twice a year,  in April and October, and the standard period of study is either six months or one year (extensions may be granted if deemed necessary).
The admission decision will be based on the submitted documents and the results of the oral examination, which may be conducted online.

You should reach out to the faculty member directly via email or other appropriate means. When contacting a faculty member, please provide a clear explanation of your academic background, intended research topic and plan, and your reasons for applying. This will help the faculty member offer appropriate guidance.
